If I've got my dates right, 27 years ago today (Dec 12, 1980), the
Spudboys earned their first (and only I think?) gold record with Whip It.

Wooo!

Cool! :)

Kinda bittersweet though, considering who was killed 4 days
before. (Come Back Jonee, indeed...)

And to commemorate the tragedy, we get Yoko Ono granting
an "interview":

When were you happiest?
I'm waiting.

Which living person do you most admire and why?
Me. Only because I know her. I can't admire somebody I really don't know, could I?

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I don't have time to be deploring myself in anyway.

Aside from a property, what's the most expensive thing you've bought?
Artwork.

What is your most treasured possession?
Myself, that is, if I possess myself.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
By now, I've accepted all my imperfections.

What is your most unappealing habit?
Not saying what I want to say.

What is your favourite smell?
Smell of life.

What is your favourite book?
I don't have one favourite book.

What would you most like to wear to a costume party?
I don't see myself wanting to go to a costume party.

What is the worst thing that anyone's said to you?
So many things were said I couldn't keep track of them.

To whom would you most like to say sorry and why?
I like to say sorry to my two children. I wish I had been able to spend more time with them when they were children.

What does love feel like?
Great!

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?
I'd rather not give a dinner party.

What is the worst job you've done?
If I did, I don't remember. I always enjoyed working, whatever it was.

What has been your biggest disappointment?
That life is so short - however long it is.

When did you last cry and why?
I cried seeing a documentary of the bears in the north pole, standing in the middle of the melting ice.

What is the closest you've come to death?
I don't know.

What do you consider you're greatest achievement?
I will let you know when I get there.

What keeps you awake at night?
Work.

What song would you like played at your funeral?
I can't think that far.

Where would you most like to be right now?
Where I am now.

Tell us a secret
If I told you, it won't be a secret anymore.

"Tell him what he's playing for Don..."
"A BRAND NEW CAR!"
"Wow! I'll take John Lennon for the win, Tom!"
