I was going thru the comics Preview guide and found this:

Devo action figures right between the Devil's Rejects and Donnie Darko!

Are these the Trendmasters ones that were canned a few years ago or is
this something new?

These are new. The abandoned ones had a black outfit (like in the Whip It
video).

Thise figs are kinda lame, I think.

First, look at the bodies - they're all exactly the same.
Note the patterns of the wrinkles on the suits.

The people who made these just sculpted one body and then made five
different heads.

Cheap!

And
They have no instruments!

And
Wouldn't it be much, much cooler to do five different outfits?
The yellow suit, the Whip It costume, the NuTra outift, etc, one on
each guy?

This is a missed opportunity, for sure.

They give you one body and five heads. The heads come off, so you can make
the figure into the five Devo members.
I will glue the five heads to one body, and make a Devo mutant doll.

I'll have to make rotating potato bodies for them... time out for fun!

My CD of Barnes & Barnes Zabagabee was stolen last year and I've been
trying to locate a replacement (ebay, amazon, etc.), but no luck. If
any of you can find a new or used copy in great condition, buy it and
I'll reimburse you for it + shipping and toss in a little bonus for
your efforts. Thanks!

Huh? When did Billy become a Yank?

I thought much of his appeal comes from his image as a London punk.

(I mean punk in the good way.)

Another BOF here...

This might clear it up--or not!

It's from sing365.com, which quotes

BORN: November 30, 1955, Middlesex, England

Most of you will probably know that our ‘Great American Rocker ‘ is
originally from England. He was born William Michael Albert Broad on Nov
30th 1955, in Stanmore, Middx. When he was just 3 years old, his father
moved the family to the USA, in the hope of what Billy describes as
‘finding the American dream’. They settled in Long Island, New York, but
after about 4 years, Mr. Broad decided that perhaps it wasn’t the
‘promised land’ after all & they returned to the UK. After spending a
short time in Bromley, Kent, the Broads moved to the quiet suburbia of
Goring, Worthing in W.Sussex. And then returned once again to Bromley.
