Through a stroke of luck & a little work, I got to see all 4 shows this
weekend. They rocked!!!

Ok, so the slam dancers were annoying as all hell, but other things
made up for that. Like having Mark put the microphone in my face
during "Joko Homo" on Sunday. :-)

The New York gig should be quite good. . . hope all who attend have a
great time!

that sunday show was cool, a little short. starting at 10pm was kind of
strange. Mark forgetting the words to "Satisfaction" was hilarious. Bob
1 still looks good. Gerry and Mark lost some weight. Why do they
continue to use those Roland D50 keyboards? every time i've seen them,
those things crap out. i could have used 20 minutes more, but the fact
that they did "gates of steel" and "wiggly world" tickled me to no end.

word to the wise: don't EVER valet park at the Hollywood House of Blues.

The D50 didn't crap out on them on Sunday; it was some other sort of
technical difficulty. D50's are actually pretty cool. My husband uses
one as his test keyboard.

Was I blind or somethiing at the Hollywood HoB shows? I didn't see
where they were selling any merch at all. If I had seen it, I probably
would have gone all consumer crazy and bought one of everything. Oh
well, I assume I'll see merch at the upcoming Oakland, CA show.

It was easy to miss the merch table at the Hollywood HOB. Look for it
in Oakland. :-)

That's impressive. I also heard they played "Going Under" at least once on
this tour. Glad they're branching out a bit, even though they used their
exact "every other show we've played in the past decade" setlist when I saw
them in Atlanta. Of course, I'd never seen them before, so I didn't mind
much.
