Some time ago, I found on emule a video purporting to be from THE GONG
SHOW MOVIE, which I've never seen. It featured Wendy O shooting ping
pong balls out of her special area at the Gong panelists. I don't know
if the clip is real or someone cobbled it together from different
sources as a gag. It appears to have the real J P Morgan in it, but
instead of the gong mallet she uses a ginat dildo to hit the gong.
Maybe there was a porn parody? I think the GONG SHOW MOVIE was a
Hollywood movie, but this clip featured gooey close-ups, so it seems
suspect. Maybe there's a director's cut? There are too many mysteries
in life.

As for "director's cut," the movie was already a showcase of acts they
couldn't show on the Gong Show, and that one wouldn't have had a shot,
so to speak.

you're describing.

Well,the clip itself isn't a mere legend. I saw it, and I just checked
and it still exists on emule as:

I don't have the clip on the HD now, and I don't wanna download it
again, but I'm guessing this was from one of the many movie
porn-parodies, such as STAR WHORES and IN HER MAJESTY'S SECRET CERVIX.
I do remember that it was definitely Wendy O in the clip. I read
somewhere that, before the PLASMATICS, she performed in live sex shows,
so I guess it's not out of line to suppose that she was well-versed in
the art of kegel-propelled marksmanship.

Yeah, for real. The host was trying to catch the ping pong balls in his
mouth. It was a fairly blurry MPEG. Maybe that wasn't really J P
Morgan, and I can't remember who else was on the actual GONG SHOW panel
or what Chuck Barris looks like.

I had heard of this clip but never seen it. Anybody remember that movie
with Hugo Weaving and Terrence Stamp as drag queens -- Priscillia Queen
of the Desert? There's a scene in whiche the mail-order wife of some
bar owner where they stop does this to the horror of some, the amusement
of others. Only other cinematic instance of this I know of.

Last plasmatics gig I saw was around '86 or '87 at the Stone, in Palo alto.
By shows end, she was down to panties and bra (both white) and bleeding from
the chips flying from the naked female mannequin she was chain-sawing with
enthusiasm.

Pretty sure I got my money's worth that night.
