Crap. I always feel weird when someone younger and in better shape than
me has a heart attack.

I'll have to go get that copy of "Wild Zero" I've been wanting in honor
of Billy.

X-no archive: yes

Yeah, Todd, from Spango. In reference to a failed comedy starring
Terri Garr and Jon Lovitz entitled "Mom and Dad Save the World," which
I liked, but appearantly not many other folks did.

Always one to champion lost causes, me.

I'm now using google for newsgroups, hence the new addy & nickname...

Don't I know it, Matt. ;>

That was a clever little flick.

Wonder what woulda happened if Teri Garr & Robert Lansing's spin-off
from Star Trek got picked up?

Teri wouldn't have gone on to her brilliant supporting performance on
"Mcloud", or her overly shrill and annoying character in "Close
Encounters of the 3rd Kind".

That was a pretty weak episode of Star Trek. It's so obvious that it's only
a crossover to market another TV show.

yeah, but it was a *good* episode of the new show. It would have been
very much like the Avengers, I think, only more far-out.

I loved that movie too. I have a thing for quirky little comedies that
go over the heads of the general public.

Does anyone else here love "Cabin Boy"? Any movie that has Chris Elliot
getting mercilessly taunted by sailors, David Letterman selling sock
monkies, and a giant talking cupcake is my idea of a good time. Throw
in Andy Richter, Russ Tamblyn (with shark fins) and the great goddess
Ann Magnuson and you have something very near perfection (IMHO).
