During the Somewhere Suite, when they threw some spud off the stage,
was that planned with every show, was it the same kid?

How come they left off Pity You and Beautiful World off the record?
During the Somewhere Suite, when they threw some spud off the stage,
was that planned with every show, was it the same kid?

They left off some songs because they wanted to use the joke "Over an
hour of uncensored sonic proof," and when you put the CD into the
tray, you discover that it clocks in at 60 minutes and one second.

And yes, they threw a person off the stage at every show, and no it
wasn't the same kid.

I was the kid who threw himself off the stage at DEVO's show in Raleigh, NC
in November of 1988. Jerry pulled me onstage because I had a vintage DEV-O
T-shirt on, and I was in the front row.

If anyone knows where I can get photos of this show, please let me know.
There have been several photographers who have contacted me over the
years, but none have actually followed through on sending me copies of the
photos. Buy or trade....I really need to get a photographic documentation
of the show!
