Chicks in a Devo cover band. Awesome. :-)

The videos on their site are pretty cool, too. The brief shot of the
keyboard reminded me of a Moog Source, but I can't tell for sure.

(who is surprised nobody has posted about the Atlanta show yet)

I'm getting better at identifying synths. I should, I'm surrounded by
vintage analog! :-)

*seething jealousy* :^)

I do have a Moog Rogue, but other than that I
have to be satisfied with the digital recreations
of the classics. Arturia's MiniMoog is pretty cool,
and I can play with it at work!

Don't get too jealous; none of it's mine!

I haven't seen the Arturia version of the Mini yet.
I did see the virtual Arp 2600 (my favorite synth ever) once, and it
was pretty cool. I missed the physical sensation of patching, though.

Shoving the pole in the hole!
Have you locked parts with any female robots lately?

Just this week in Japan, a engineer exhibited a female robot that was
so real it was creepy!
She was powered by pnumatic lines. She would sit on a stoll, interact
with people, breath and sqiurm in her seat every so often

She was really real looking in the photos. She woule even react to
movemnt around her. If someone tried to hit her, she raise her arm to
block the hit. I bet that guy doesn't have too many lonley nights now!
If she was at my house, I'd need a whoppong 700 CFM compresser!

its almost 2016! I can finally have that replicant that looks like Sean
Young!

Whooooo Whoooooo!

As long as she doesn't have that Sean Young personality. On that note,
I would like to order the following --

A Shatner replicant c. 1961
A Johnny Ramone doll (Johnny yr beautiful, but keep your mouth shut,
would ya, babe?)
A Nathan Fillion, thanks!
and what the heck, throw in an Alison Hannigan & a Jewel Staite for
good measure...

Do you at least get to mess with them?
Only when work on them has finished. I'm not much of a keyboard player
or synthesist, but I have fun anyway.

On your word, I DL'd the demo version. That IS pretty cool! I
sequenced the 11/8 lick from "Blockhead" , but didn't mess
around with the patches too much.
Fortunately, I work in a production studio, so it could conceivably
be considered "work"
At least with a virtual synth you won't run out of patch cords!
:-)
