Well I went to teh Dover Air BAse Auto Hobby shp to change the oil in
the car. The shop is next to the mortuary, and boy is that place
jumping!

I not seen teh parking lot that full sine '04.

But the best part was when I got home!

In my mailbox was a nice little recruiting pamplet asking me to join
Army ROTC!

Yes me! The 46 year old guy who enlisted in the Army back in 1978, who
served 4 years acvtive, and the rest in the reserves, who earned a
commision via OCS in 1988!

They want me to join ROTC!

I of course filled all teh info out to include my Rank (Captian) date
of birth, etc. and a littel comment that I think their databas eis a
liiittle screwed up!

I also said that I think Barb & Jenna Bush were available.

The guy that last lived in the Condo of Solitude died a year before I bought
the place, in 2001, I believe. A single diabetic dude, mid 40s, found a
couple days after he keeled. I think he haunts the place.

Anyhow, I got a piece of mail for him from Verizonked, offering him a FREE
RAZR CELL PHONE if he would only ACT IMMEDIATELY. I thought about sending
the thing in, but you know, a ghost with a cell phone could become quite
annoying.

I think the US Army and the phone company share the same mailing list
providers!

PS...the lady who owned this condo before HIM passed away elsewhere in this
city a couple months ago, and I get ads for Carribean cruises for her.

So far, I'm the last survivor of the Condo of Solitude.

...or it's next victim. When "Bob" ordaineth that a retiree should dieth at
a certain address, He first directeth it to that addresseth. Or something.

Maybe you should get with a 20-sided die and the Apartments section,
before it's too late.

On second thought, why open up a DIRECT CONDUIT TO THE LUCK PLANE?

<sigh> I'm afraid you're fucked.
