Does anybody know the release date for it? The FOC footage (if it is
complete) should be one of the biggest "finds" of DEVO live footage
available, including "unofficial live releases." I remember reading
something that Jerry said on clubdevo in the ask DEVO section about
there not being any complete FOC footage available for release. Makes
you wonder what else may be out there in the way of DEVO footage.

There's tons of handheld home video stuff, but very little
professionally shot stuff. If you have seen the short clip on the
Rising Sun DVD, you will notice that it's all shot with one camera.
So you can't exactly call that "professionally shot." Still, it will
definitely be fun to see the whole thing.

I understand that after the during and After the FOC tour, the Spudboys
made several attempts to record their concerts.

None of the tapes were up to their standards, so they never released
any.

I personally would welcome a DEVO concert shot with one camera from the
front row. The DEVO Live@ Irvine Meadows show was poorly edited. If you
have seen the footage from the very same show that PBS showed in the
late 90's you know what I'm talking about. Better camera angles and a
better mix. It is possible to ruin footage/audio that is professionally
shot/recorded. DEVO Live 1980 DVD, I'm for it!
