Anyone know the name of the instrumental that opens this Devo clip?
(It's from "Fridays" in 1981):

Also, does anyone have it (and the other two "Fridays" clips in this
set) in a better quality format? Just killer.

It was originally known as "The Freedom Of Choice Theme Song", but when a
studio version of it was finally released, it was called "Theme From
Adventures Of The Smart Patrol".

Thanks for the quick response. As usual with Devo, the live
version is much better. Now I need to find someone with a
decent first-generation VHS copy of the show.

I sincerely hope Michael Richards rots in hell.

to approve any home video releases from the series written into
his contract. To date, he has not signed off on a DVD release..."

Actually, that piece was originally called "Nutra Theme." "Freedom of
Choice Theme Song" was the opening to the Freedom of Choice tour, and
immediately followed by "Whip It."

He's right it's "Nutra Theme", I was mixing it up with another instrumental
which they played on Fridays.
On CD it's called "Theme From Adventures Of The Smart Patrol", as I said
before.
