Thats great !!
If Disney wants to explain De-evolution to kids, hey, why not ? Plus its
nice to see a kids band that dont look like mini gangster rappers and dont
use as many political cliches as Green Day.
Pity they had to change some of the lyrics on Uncontollable Urge but it
seems to be very DEVO.
WeŽll see what effect it has on the kids.

I'm sooo buying that when it comes out. No, I'm buying 2 and giving one

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed that they picked
little Hollywood cutie-pie types to be Devo 2.0. After all, Devo are
not the "Beautiful People." But at least they look like they can
actually play instruments (even though they apparently don't on this
album). But it IS Devo, and I suppose anything that gets their music
out to the kids today (if it works) is good. My kids can't stand
Devo, but maybe with a cute girl their age instead of Mark fronting,
they'll get into it.

This is *Disney*we're dealing with--they're on par with Big
Entertainment. ;-)

Maybe. Though my parents adore Johnny Mathis, and I can't stand him.

Absolutely on par. They are one of the largest of media conglomerates.

I think Walt's death marked the beginning of the end.

ROFLMAO!!!!

I still remember the 1970's version of the Mouseketeers covering "Joy
to the World". They had to replace the line "make sweet love to you"
to "sing sweet songs for you."

Hold on for one second!

Lets think about this!

The Disney gave us Annette Funicello, Christina Auguella, and Brtiney
Spears!

I say this can only lead to evil! EVIL!

Oh sure, Pink. One day it's ogling 13 year old Devogirl, next day
we're digging up bodies from under his porch! ;)

That was just a joke, by the way. I'm sure they didn't hire her for
her Casale-inspired studies of de-evolution.

this reminded me..what happened to the kids who portrayed the Smart
Patrol in the Adventure of the Smart Patrol game? Well, they weren't
kids, but wasn't that supposed to be Devo 2.0? Devo 1.5?

Sadly, their Spudguns were clunky when it came to Turkey Monkey.
Pilgrims raided Smart Patrol Headquarters, and the Smart Patrol was
disbanded.
