The Oakland show is pretty exicting stuff for this spud! Last time I
saw them locally here in the SF Bay Area was during the 1988 Total Devo
tour at the Omni in Oakland, a venue which does not exist anymore!
Wait, that's not true, I also saw them in 1997 (or 1996?) at the San
Jose Lalapolooza show. Aggh, wait, I ALSO saw them in 2002-ish (?) at
the semi-surprise free show in the Civic Center in SF in front of city
hall building. Man, I'm officially getting old if my memory or getting
that bad.

I actually caught word of this new Oakland show from an alert email from
ticketmaster.com before I heard about it on AFD or the clubdevo site.
My ticket is ordered! I'm also going down to LA this weekend to catch
the Saturday and Sunday shows at the house of blues on Sunset Blvd in W.
Hollywood. Yaaaaaaay for the Devo universe...
