Songs you wish Devo would add/drop
(too old to reply)

ADD:

Shrivel Up
Too Much Paranoias
Pink Pussycat
Red Eye
Baby Doll

DROP:
Peek-a-Boo!
Girl U Want

All in all, I think Devo has done a great job of picking songs to
perform now. "Wiggly World" was a great addition, and the rest of the
songs they do are the crowd favorites. I realize they have to play
"Girl U Want," but I'm sick of it. And I've never liked "Peek-a-Boo!"
I think its message of paranoia goes right over people's heads and it
becomes a nursery rhyme to most. "Too Much Paranoias" is a little
dated with its references to Burger King's old 70's slogan, but Mark's
guitar solo is genius.

Discuss.

Paranoia?
It's about denial.

See what I mean? VOOOOM!! Right over your head! ;)

Either way, I still think it's one of the shittiest songs in their
catalog. I did like the video in the live show with the pop-up book
that depicted buttfucking, though.

My creepiest girlfriend ever used to call it "our song"! She
especially liked to whisper lines like "I know what you do - cuz I do
it too!" in my ear at inopportune moments.

(PS: I just did a quickie web search of her name, and I'm pretty sure
she's now a Texas COP! You know, like the ones in Houston where, as
Mark M. said back in the mid-80s, "we got our paddies whacked and the
pigs kept demanding that we sing 'Whip It' in our jail cell!")
