Devo at W.Hollywood HoB Aug 6&7

Soooo spuds, I have my tickets in hand for the Devo shows on Sat and Sun
August 6&7 at the West Hollywood House of Blues on Sunset. However, I
live up in northern California. Any SoCal people have any suggestions
on where to stay cheapcheap that's near the venue? I guess I'll be
driving down from the SF area early Saturday morning, and will need to
stay both Saturday and Sunday nights. Unless I wanna test my
driving-while-tired luck and try driving home right after the Sunday
night show...umm...no. If I'm feeling too lazy and don't want to drive
that far, I guess I could get a flight and rent a car while I'm there.
I dunno though, I'm in pretty cheap-skate mode right now...

There's a Motel 6 on Hollywood Blvd, about 3 miles from the HOB.
I'm sure there's cheaper hotels in that area, but I don't think they're
safe.

I'm going to the Sunday show with a friend (and my husband, if he
decides to come). I live about 80 miles away from the HOB, but we'll
be driving back to my place after the show.

If you decide to fly, I suggest flying into Burbank. You can get into
Hollywood via public transportation, IIRC. (Haven't lived in that area
in 2 years.)
