Austria born beauty, Sybil Danning, appeared in roughly sixty films in
a twenty year period between 1969 and 1989 that marked the bulk of her
film career. European sex comedies, westerns, dramas, thrillers,
comedies, horror films... You name the film genre, and chances are
better than good that Sybil Danning starred in a few of them. She
worked with American grindhouse greats like David Friedman in THE LONG
SWIFT SWORD OF SIEGFRIED (1971), European producers and directors a
plenty like Erwin Dietrich in SWINGING STEWARDESSES (1971), Enzo
Castellari in DAY OF THE COBRA (1980) starring along side of Franco
Nero to boot, Bruno Mattei in SEVEN MAGNIFICENT GLADIATORS (1983), and
Luigi Cozzi in his HERCULES (1983) with Lou Ferrigno. Other films I'm
sure all Cinema Wasteland fans will remember Sybil from include the
Euro-thriller RED QUEEN KILLS 7 TIMES (1972), NAUGHTY NYMPHS (1972) ,
Richard Lester's THREE MUSKETEERS (1973) and its sequel, THE FOUR
MUSKETEERS (1974), GOD'S GUN (1976) with Lee Van Cleef and Jack
Palance, CAT IN THE CAGE (1978), two big budget disaster films with an
"all star" cast: AIRPORT ‘79: THE CONCORD (1979) and METEOR (1979),
THE MERCENARIES (1980), the W.I.P. classic CHAINED HEAT (1983) with
Linda Blair, THE HOWLING 2 (1985), Andy Sidaris' MALIBU EXPRESS
(1985), REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS (1986), Fred Olen Ray's THE TOMB (1986)
and THE PHANTOM EMPIRE (1986) and the late night TV skit comedy
classic, AMAZON WOMEN ON THE MOON (1987). She appeared in several
television shows as well, including a memorable role as "Mary Kruger"
in the cult sci-fi TV show "V" (1984). Her many action film roles
earned her recognition as one tough ass kicking beauty and in 1989 she
wrote, produced, and starred in L.A. BOUNTY (1989) and tore it up
chasing "bad guy" Wings Hauser. After her production company,
Adventuress Productions, contract expired with Paramount, Sybil left
Hollywood for Germany and began a new adventure as the successful
owner of a professional hockey team. Her heart remained in Hollywood
and film production though, so after a few years Sybil is now back in
the States where she fired up her production company, once again
intent on producing action films featuring strong female leads. She
currently has a few projects in the works and we wish her well in her
efforts to get them to the screen.

I have nothing to say about the post, but I'm fascinated by the subject
heading. Is it a typo, or some sort of hidden message? Who is "Sy"? and
why are they less than "bil"?
